Rev. Sean B. Smith joined Antioch Baptist Church North in September of 1988,
under the pastorate of Rev. Dr. C.M. Alexander. Under the tutelage and guidance of Rev. Alexander,
Rev. Smith was licensed to preach April 14, 1991 and subsequently ordained to the gospel
ministry on April 11, 2001.
Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Rev. Smith graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School in 1984.
He relocated to Atlanta in June of 1985 and attended Georgia State University where he graduated with a B.A.
degree in Journalism.
Rev. Smith is married to Denean K. Smith and the
father of two beautiful daughters: Zoe, age 9 and Alexandria,
age 7.
